German parking operator opts for British IT platform
Unity5, the technology company behind Zatpark, is building up its international profile.
German operator Innovativ Parken has awarded Unity5 the contract to provide a fully integrated parking management software solution.
Innovativ Parken is one of the leading car parking operators in Germany, managing over 100 car park sites, ranging from small facilities to large complex, multi-purpose parking spaces.
Innovativ has not previously used a software provider for its parking enforcement, but decided on the Zatpark platform due to its ease of integration.
Ben Leahy, Managing Director of Innovativ Parken said: “We are looking forward to working with the team at Unity5 and growing both our businesses throughout Europe.”
In order to overcome any language differences, Innovativ’s team provided German language templates which Zatpark then applied to its software. Unity5 also ensured that the Zatpark system was fully integrated with Deutsche Post and supported by the KBA, the German equivalent of the UK’s DVLA.
Dave Herbert, Chief Executive of Unity5, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded our second international contract working with Innovativ Parken, our first being APCOA in Dublin. Our software is compatible with any language and can function in any country, proving that language is no barrier to expansion for either of our companies.”
Unity5 is a UK provider of parking management software. Launched by Dave Herbert and Lukasz Kieruczenko in 2010, its Zatpark platform helps operators to become more efficient and effective through the automation and systemisation of back office processes. Over its first ten years, over 11,000,000 contraventions were processed through Zatpark.
