Supporting Cots 4 Tots

Jul 1, 2022

Cots for Tots Grand Appeal, the official Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity, is committed to saving lives and supporting families at the children’s hospital. Cots for Tots was created in 2010 to support and raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol.

Bristol Children’s Hospital is a very special place, caring for over 100,000 patients each year from across the South West and South Wales, covering the single largest geographic area of any children’s hospital in England. Babies, children, and young adults with highly complex medical conditions – from rare genetic disorders, neurological conditions, and congenital heart disease to traumatic injuries, cancer, and kidney disease are cared for around the clock by extraordinary staff.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is at the heart of everything Cots 4 Tots does, supporting the unit by providing:

  • Family accommodation: They run three accommodation houses that provide a safe and supportive place for families to stay in while their child is in hospital.
  • Equipment: They fund state-of-the-art equipment to save little lives.
  • Music therapy: Their music therapist visits the unit every week, delivering sessions to help reduce stress and pain.

At Unity5 (the company behind ZatPark) we support a number of charities each year and as part of The Grand Appeal, today is a day to find your weirdest, wackiest wrong trousers to donate for the right to look wrong.

So, whether you parade your pyjamas, shimmy around in sequins or just have fun in some funky flares, all you have to do is get your family, friends, colleagues or housemates to choose their trousers. You can support Wrong Trousers Day by donning your most elaborate ‘troos’ or by donating to the Grand Appeal here – https://www.grandappeal.org.uk
