ZatPark is delighted to announce the appointment of Sharon Silcock as its first Head of Business Development. ZatPark is still undergoing a sustained period of growth, announcing a number of new recruits and new client wins, North East Lincolnshire Council being the most recent. Sharon’s role will be to assist with this growth trajectory, working closely with our sales team to identify further opportunities across both the private sector and local authorities.
Sharon has over 20 years' experience in business development and nearly 10 years’ experience specifically working in the parking sector so she is a well-known member of the UK parking industry. She joins ZatPark from Taranto Systems where she was the National Sales Manager working with local authority clients and enforcement operators. Prior to that Sharon worked as Business Development Manager for Imperial Civic Enforcement Solutions focusing on their Open Parking brand and winning several new business clients in the private sector.
Celina Herbert, ZatPark’s Director of Operations said: “In our very first meeting I warmed to Sharon and knew that she had something very special to bring to the ZatPark team and she is joining us at a very exciting time. Having reached the 10-year milestone last year, we are in a stronger position than ever before to provide the best software solutions to clients in the parking sector, and we believe that Sharon will play a crucial role in helping us to do that.”
Sharon said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining a company that’s so forward-thinking and I’m really looking forward to being part of such an ambitious, as well as warm and friendly, team. When I met with Celina we instantly clicked, and we share the same passion for this industry. ZatPark is completely focused on delivering a high level of customer service and customer user experience, which is also important to me. My experience of working in both the private and public parking sector is very much aligned with ZatPark’s growth strategy making this new role a perfect fit for me.”
ZatPark is currently working with Cornwall, Lyme Regis, North East Lincs and Woking councils whilst also being the leading provider of software solutions to the private parking sector.
